It breaks your heart to see your child struggle.
We know how worrisome it can be when your child cannot communicate their wants or needs clearly.
If your child has been diagnosed with, or you suspect he or she has an articulation or language disorder, basic requests or conversations can be frustrating for your child.
We know how hard it is when others don’t understand your child.
Others may treat him or her differently, or you see your child not acting like themselves when they are around their peers.
We know how stressful mealtime can be!
You don’t want each meal to be a battle every day; you want your child to enjoy eating, and you want to enjoy mealtime with them, too!
We know that what you’re going through is hard…
You and your child are in good hands!
We know how to help.
We help children meet their goals in a fun, interactive, individualized environment.
We want your child to be successful in our sessions! We use their interests and things they love, like their favorite sport, superhero, or toys, to engage with them while they do hard work!
Your son loves baseball? There are so many “s” words we can practice while we talk about his last baseball game! Your daughter loves princesses? While we dress them up, we will use descriptors and prepositions to talk about what we are doing!
Whether we’re sitting on the floor or at our Lego table – we’ll figure out what makes your child communicate to the best of their ability!
Our enthusiastic therapists know how to play and explore with your child.
Play is one of the most natural and creative communication outlets for your child. Playing with toys and games during therapy sessions allows us to encourage imagination, conversations, and interactions! You will also have the opportunity to learn from our therapists during your child’s sessions so that you can encourage language development at home, too!
Speech therapy will be motivating and challenging.
More often than not, we are breaking a habit that your child has learned over time, or we are teaching them something new. These are challenging tasks! But with the incorporation of positive reinforcements and affirmations, your child will power through!
Our treatment sessions run for 30-60 minutes.
We have two child-friendly treatment areas in our relaxed outpatient office, where we have space and resources to do activities that will foster success for your child! If you decide telepractice is for your family, we will set up a password-protected meeting that you can access wherever you are.
It’s time for your child to shine!
You know the potential that your child has to offer – let us help you unlock it! We are here to help lessen the frustration, worry, and tears.
